A Medina County arrest does not automatically mean the person will go to Torres Unit. Local custody usually starts at Medina County Jail, where the person may face bond, court filing, release, local sentence, or transfer. Torres Unit becomes relevant when the person is sentenced to TDCJ and assigned to that unit. The TDCJ locator should show the current facility after state processing catches up.

If a result still shows a county jail or does not yet show a TDCJ unit, wait for updates and confirm with the agency that currently holds the person.
